December 2011
The Pilgrims came to this country, in the main, for religious freedom, for the ability to be able to practice their faith the way they wanted. Now it may seem as though religious freedom is on the rocks; it's politically incorrect in some sectors to say: "Merry Christmas."
This Christmas wish is for the Christians among us who celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas Day every year.
For those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, I wish you the very best celebration of your kind, whenever it occurs. Please join us in the spirit of the holiday — a word derived from “holy day.”
May the miracle of Christmas fill your heart with warmth and love. Christmas is the time of giving and sharing. It is the time of loving and forgiving.
Merry Christmas to everyone!
